Q: why is mors so stringy in cost?
A: not enough access points.

This ties the new world of i*G to G, still the game of dealing with less than comfortable amount of access points but with alien hexarm, alien capability of intra-channel atom handoff between neighboring prongs, and alien constraint of "this spot on track is designated bad because it causes an unwanted grab".

Specifically the six track has four for anime access, plus two to allow to handoffs: west to northwest and northwest to northeast. Handoff from northeast to east requires multiple atoms.
